hi, im looking at buying a xtreme xtra heavy duty clutch (want a strong clutch to do rallies with) and i was wondering if it could damage any other parts of the car if they are standard ie; gearbox and diff, but the ute will be putting out around 180-200rwkw??

I have this Xtreme clutch kit on my XR8 ute, DCB Heavy Duty Clutch Kit KFD27001DCBHD.
Mine puts out 180 rwkw's and has no dramas with it except for some shuddering, but it holds the power well. Make sure your diff is nice and tight, and also your gearbox input shaft isnt sloppy as it will make the shuddering worse. Its reasonably heavy, slightly more than stock one, probably max id go with that sort of power, i dont think you would need much more than that. |

Yeah exactly the same.
If you could stretch the budget, get yourself a better flywheel aswell, atleast a steel one, and one that is a bit lighter than stock one, im sure they do a complete kit with flywheel, do it all at once, will be better. |

As Phil said it can get quite chattery on take off etc and my T5 having the above mentioned sloppy input shaft doesnt make situations any better. But all it takes is abit of getting used to, it will definately keep the missus away from driving it lol, at least it has to mine. As far as performance goes it handles well. I'm running over 200kw @ the wheels and hasnt failed to grab once, although if you have a harsh driving style/habit you may want to rethink that as this will kill your gearbox. My mate learnt the hard way with this clutch in his AUII XR8 220, done alot of dumping the clutch and snatching gears hard and ended up with a T5 in a 100 pieces and an empty wallet.

Advantage being that its Billet Steel compared to the cast iron std one. This making it explosion proof, ever heard of a cast flywheel shattering? can cause quite a mess and not too good on the wallet either. So obviously the Billet one is stronger, safer and more durable than the std one and i'm pretty sure it'd be cheaper too.
