Default ef blck projector headlamps

hay guys and girls, any1 with an ef or any e-series for that metter will
know by now that you can not get black projector healamps for these models. but i think i can change this... for ef's anyway.

i spoke to one of my supplyers at work today and if i can get enough
people on a list who are willing to pay a deposit he will look into making
them. at the moment it is EF only. i am looking for peaple who are genuinly
interested and ARE willing to pay a deposit when the time comes. i dont
have many details at this point... price, time frame etc. but that will all
come once we get the ball rolling. if you know any1 who might be interested
let them know of this list.

you know the drill guys.. just copy and paste the list and add your name.

cheers scott.

I dont know what ef black projector headlamps are?

One point is that if it suits EF it will suit EL but Fairmont Headlights are different.

Are we just talking about blacking the inside of the headlight or are we talking something like a BA headlight in an EF EL housing?

i wasnt aware that fairmonts were differant but if so
it is for ef falcon, gli etc. but im sure ef and el are
differant, correct me if im wrong but i think ef lights
go into a point towards the centre and el are more
rounded.

yeh similar to ba ones.
i cannot get a pic to upload but if you go on eba and
type in au falcon headlamp you will see pics of the black
ones availible for that model.

NO way, are EF and EL base models different?

I know EF/EL Fairmont/Ghia/Fairlane/LTD are as I have an EF monty
Obviously EF/EL XR are different as they are twin light

But EF and EL base models different, didn't know that...........maybe different internals and appearance but surely not housing and fitting

Look at the inside edge of the headlights (closest to the grille). The EF ones have a sharp point at the bottom edge. EL ones are rounded and are shorter. EF/EL Mont/Lane look similar to the EF ones but are shorter. And I didn't include XR because only an idiot would have trouble picking them apart.

Tony, I think he's talking about lights with a full lens, sorta like ba ones, with projectors inside and black surround
