Hi Guys,
Ive picked myself up a '92 EB Fairmont Ghia to tinker with and get back on the road. Its been well looked after all its life but it has a few electrical gremlins which I'm sorting out. I'm wondering if anyone on here can tell me the function/logic of the lights in the outside door locks? I realize they are there to help you find the key hole in the dark, but mine just stay on constantly. Is this normal? The vehicle is pre smartlock so there's no remote central locking. I think part of my problems is due to lighting system as the dome lights don't come on and the back lighting for the gauges also won't come on with the headlights selected. Also the back-lighting for the trip computer & climate control is non functional. I was thinking BCM? Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated! Cheers Stu |

Never mind, found it was a fuse- though you had to look hard to tell it was blown.
The door lock lamps light up when you give the handle a squeeze..... Stu |
