Cool how much?

How much do you think it should cost at mechanics including wheel alignment?

The only reason for asking is we live in a town where the mechanical bill for anything starts at $500!

Ok well I need my left lower ball joint done - and have decided to just get the whole arm replaced with both upper and lower bj on them. A straight swap is $199 fitted. And then it's on with 2 new tyres and then a wheel alignment - no more than $450 all up approx.

So tell your overpriced mechanic that
