hi ppl i know this has probably been asked a thousand times but lets say i buy a t5 conversion kit what exactly would have to be done to fit it into my auto eb like rewrieing and all that is there anyone in brisbane who would wanna make some extra cash who could do it for me if i supplied parts im just thinking at the moment but i figure manual would give me a bit more torgue and control cheers

hey mate its not that hard i thought the exact thing that your thinking im glad now that i did it myself and didnt pay someone else to do it. just give it a go its not that hard.

Are AU manual box's able to fit into earlier E-series?

i guess it will either be a coversion or buy another car
lets say i spend 500 dollars on a 5 speed ea falcon 3.9 mpfi would i be able to take my 4.0 mpfi engine and chuck that into the ea would it fit straight in are the engine mounts any different on the 3.9 would the 5 speed transmission connect up to my engine cheers |

yeah the 5 speed would bolt up, engine mounts are the same etc, but it would be heaps easier to transfer the 5 speed from a cheap EA into you EB.
