Angry Sticky windows

Hey,
I have a problem with my windows. I know cars with power windows are pretty known for this....

My drivers side window is scratching on something and i cant seem to see what it is..... from what I could see, its like metal scourer looking stuff.... either way, the window only goes down about 5 cms and is a real to get back up.....

Any suggestions of fixes?

Thanks

it will be the cable, that scratching noise you here is the cable being chewed up inside the motor, the wheel inside will be stuffed too.

Power Window Regulators are expensive new, over $200.00. But are still available
