Smile Ed XR6/8 Lights

Hi guys, new member, your site is awesome, just want to know if anyone knows where I can get a set of a complete set of XR6/8 lights for my 1992 5lt EB Fairmont Ghia.....

best bet, mabey spoilers galore, bell st pascoe vale. but the lights are expensive.
do u want the lights only, or a body kit aswell, that can be used with the lights???
anywho, the lights are about $600 a pair

From Mount Isa, Qld, Middle of now where, Don't want the body kit, got a different one in mind such as the MMM bodykit from awc, Just want a set of lights and the one piece grill bit that the eds have

not cheap, they've been selling around the grand / 1200 mark complete lights, indicators and grille
they occasionally come up on the forums, verry ocasionally though.....


check ebay from time to time as well...

LMAO he lives in Country QLD. I doubt he is going to go to Ferntree Gully to get parts

no, but they can and do post at a very reasonable price (recall someone getting a part from them from canberra)

rollin, that piece wasnt ever made non genuine as far as i can tell (i work in the headlight industry) so im pretty much 99% sure it would be genuine....

It would be genuine - Ford australia patented the grille design and the headlight design, so they cannot be copied aftermarket.
Last time I checked, the headlamps were $600 each new genuine and the grille was around the $250 mark.

I got a price last year for the whole set up, $1650 blinker to blinker.
These parts are still available from Ford.

I got a full ED XR front end conversion from FTG autosalvage, $900. Came with headlights, indicators and front grille. One of the wire looms was broken, so nick sent me up a new one. Good price and exellent condition, they even cleaned the bugger for me and what not.
