Question 16" 'Bear Hug' Wheels

Hi guys, ive tried on e-bay and the trading post and through a few wheels dealers but i havnt been able to find any, does anyone know of any for sale or for potential sale? will be looking to buy in the next month or two. i wanted something different but also a std ford rim.

these are it, my dad had a set on a EL fairmont wagon in the dark red colour with sports supension, and it looked like a real pimp wagon! they were an optional wheel same as the 'turbine' XR wheels they were on a few special editions as well. they might have gone by another name but thats what they are called in the parts catalog.

thanks guys didnt even think of them, next question though, on a white EF Fairmont with factory sports suspension, do u reckon gold or silver in the 16" concorde/bear hug wheel?

I recall i think it is the tyre factory sell them from memory when i was contemplating buying some.

I have some of these lying around up at my parents place in NSW, without tyres, genuine, off a concorde. I'm going up there for easter to get them and will be selling these wheels after that down here in Melbourne. Look in F.S. section after about the 20th of April and they should be there.

gold looks pretty good against white, so id go gold

I dont think you shoudl buy those rims...no good at all! :

Nah I think they rock, and not to many people have them!!!, although I swear since I made that thread everyone wants them.

I could not find any gold ones anywhere, although I didn't try that hard and I wasn't going to get them through TTF as they probably charge a crapload.

Got my set from FTG for $450 :hihi:

I think I am going to get mine polished up, just need to figure out a way to make the centre caps match aswell.

DAZ82 i read this post this morning, then when i went out shopping i saw a dark red el wagon, front appeared to be lowerd with those rims on it. freaky.

ya never know it coulda been my dads old lease car, lol
ive always wanted them, but i didnt think they would look any good on my EA Fairmont so now that im gettin the EF Fairmont imthinkin maybe i should!

i got a concorde down the rod for my house with those rims, the first time i seen it i was puzzled coz i didnt know what they were, i rekon they look sweet,
