1995 EF Fairmont
2.5" red back single muffler from the cat
4.0ltr Done 62k kms
Between 400km and 750 km from heavy street use to long distance hwy stuff.

I think my EA gets better round town consumption, but the EF is miles better on the hwy/fwy.

95 EF XR6 Wagon (72L? tank) 5 speed.
Stock as a rock.

Get about 700kms per tank. 90% highway, 5% moutain pass 5% city/town. From Wollongong, through the moutain pass on the Illawarra highway. Hume till Albury then to Yarrawonga some random little cruise arund Yarra and back to Albury before I touched the red. So could push it to 750kms if I was brave and wanted to walk for petrol.

City driving, wouldn't know haven't measured. Maybe 400kms.

On BP Ultimate. 95% lady like driving (I use all of 2nd every now and then).

stock el fairmont, just extractors and zorst, i get over 600k's on a highway run, and around 450k's around town. but i am pretty hard on the throttle (to the speed limit, not over) and she is running a lil rough as well. my old car would give me around 350k's on the freeway, revved at 2700rpm at 100k's

Mine can range anywhere between 400 and 750k's depending on the driving

My trip computer tells me I average 10.3L/100k for my driving over the last 3-4 months (since the battery was last disconnected) but I don't pay a whole lot of attention to that

I managed 600kms with mainly highway driving, but that was when the car was completely stock, complete with auto. Now it's manual, theoretically I should get even more out of a tank, but I haven't done as much highway driving since

Not totally sure on the EB XR8 as the odometer has packed it in but $30 of PULP will run around town for a full week, usually still got 1/4 tank left. Alot of big hills around here too. On a highway run I get from here to launceston (touch over 150km) and use between 1/8 & 1/4 tank (depends how spirited the trip is)
Mods are limited to cam, CAI and twin 3" straight through exhaust.

EB GLi is lucky to get 3 days driving out of a tank of PULP, probably 300km.

Amazing how much difference the manual in the XR makes compared to the "plant the foot to get moving" auto.

EA 4.0L MPFI w/ 4-speed conversion, 2.77:1 diff, cruise control, Pacemaker headers.

~700km to a full tank (station wagon tank ~75L??). Mix of thrashing and granny driving, but about 70% on th highway, and the rest hauling *** around the city.

Gotta say though, I'm stoked about that figure!! Too bad I'm looking at getting a new wade cam VERY soon!
