Default Anyone interested in a game of Paintball?

since the last event orginised by CrannersEL at baywater for the Lasergun Night, considering the fun we had, lets move the bar up a notch with some Extreme Paintball!!!!!

but first, this is just an interest thread to see if we can get the numbers we want to play, its a 8 player minimum so we defornetly need over 8 people to attend and play in these matches. Equipment will be supplied by the operatiors of these functions, as well as drinks and snakes. Looking into a few places atm, most of them being out door arenas, there is one place in geelong that is an indoor paintball arean that looks like a great place to play, when i get a list of suitipal places to play i will post

the more members from the forums the marrier, if we cant meet the right amount of numbers or can still allow more to play, we will allow members to bring there friends to come and play aswell

but for the mean time, who would be interested?

I shot 1200 paintballs at the outdoor Anakie site, and payed over 200.
Was great fun.

yeh the base rate at anakie is $50 including all equipment and 100 paintballs. then its $20 extra per 100 paintballs. and the indoor place is the same only the base is $89 with 300 paintballs

Ah guys, I was going to tell you this in a a few weeks, but I am actually one of the head referees at the Anakie Outdoor place, HotShots.

So, I was going to bring this up, but I think I can get a slight discount for large groups (only $10 though, or something like that). We are working the details out, but it should be sorted by the end of the month.

Has anyone been there? Good chance I was shouting at you..LOL

So yeah, whoever is organising this PM me, maybe we can work something out.

I dont own the place, I work there mostly on weekends, and sometimes during the week. Works well with uni times so its handy, plus its alot better than packing shelves!

Heres a link. Ive been to the Echuca one, and without blowing my/own own trumpet, Anakie craps on it from a great height. And outdoor is alot better than indoor aswell, not to mention its alot closer than a ~6hour drive.

the anakie place seems to be able to have up to like 80 people so if we get enough people from here then more mates and stuff we could have one huge battle.

All depends on how close you get, we try and stop anything that we know is too dangerous; at the end of the day safety is the number one priority.

Yeap, and for good reason.

I will tell you know that were I work we are pretty tough on distances. Some think that its to tough, and thats fine, you are more than welcome to leave.

At the end of the day it is a dangerous sport, but its only made dangerous by fools, its only a very small percentage that come through and act up. They are told to leave politely if they cant hack the rules.
