Does anyone know how to tell if the clutch fan assembly on an EA is working properly?....when the engine is off,is the fan supposed to have some movement?trying to figure out if I need a new one or not

yeah it should spin, but there should be a bit of resistance in it.

Have you been having over heating problems ? If not then it's probably doing it's job fine.

Give it a bit of a spin (when the engine isn't running, obviously) and if there's too much or no resistance it's buggered, but if there's a little almost negligible bit of resistance to spin it should be fine.

Clutch fans are the shit ;)
