the EB on 5 litre was a mustang engine though |

Not that I know of.
The inline aussie six was designed and built in Australia, I don't think we ever exported them to any other countries for use in other vehicles. Unless some yank shipped one over for a retro fit in to a Gremlin or something, then I highly doubt it. |

did the 4L sixes make it south africa? i know theres a fair few e series utes over there as rangers or rancheros or something.

they are with both, iv seen plenty on ebay, wreckers, driving around still with OHC motors, i dont mean to say your wrong but i dont they were all had engine transplants :P

joe, the XFN utes were XF utes....it had stopped by XG's inception (93)
yes, XG's had the OHC engine, but there no Nissan XFN utes with the OHC |

There were a FEW XGN Utes, but are pretty rare, also alot of people retro fit the XG/ED engine.
XFN's are very common as Ford rebadged the Patrol as the Maverick, hence the swap.
