The other night, I was loading the pram and other stuff into the boot after turning the car on. Whilst doing this, I noticed that the fumes coming from the exhuast smelt very... umm... fumey.... It really didn't smell like a normal exhaust... any ideas here or am i just over reacting....

Could be running rich, or could be a stuffed cat. Or could be normal. It's one of those things you really have to smell to know if it's "off" or not.

was the car at operating temp or cold? if it was cold it would have been running richer, hence a more "fumey" smell
