The turbo :P
Internally the gudgeon pins are different, lower comp pistons, the exhaust valve is made of a different material and I think thats it. I will buy another motor once this one is up and running and get the internals done properly.

Did you figure out how you will be running the instrument cluster etc??
You may start a new trend - screw AU engines :P

Intstrument cluster should be easy. Speedo is the same, runs off the gearbox, water and oil should be okay if I can adapt the standard sensors to the new motor.
Tacho might need to be done using an output on the ECU.

Fair enough, so apart from the tacho everything else should function without too much stuffing about? Wouldn't there be different voltages and stuff? (I'm not good with electrical mumbo-jumbo :P)
Maybe a BA interior conversion should be on the cards Dan :P

Looks to be plenty of clearance on the exhaust side. Measure it and I'll tell you how far a standard XR6T manifold+turbo protrudes.

Can you use the existing gearbox? or do you have to update to a BA one?

Better pics.
So close to closing! Maybe with a bit of "adjustment" to the bonnet reinforcement it might clear.

Yeah, even silver or gunmetal would look good.

At least the clutch fan is gone e
How did it fit? Was it a simple bolt in or did the sump and/or k frame need a chop? Don't wanna know about the wiring, I'd drive me bonkers. Looks very nice. Good job. And stop giving me expensive ideas, I can't afford them! : |

The front crossmember needs to be moved forward. Im going to do that today, fit the clutch and gearbox up then fit it for the last time until I turbo it and need to mod the sump again.
Ill paint the engine bay when I do that. I cbf now.
