Cheers, to begin with the ad was purely to create expressions of interest, the reason I didn't put it up on here was due to exactly what is happening now. Yagz, I don't sleep next to my car, although unwanted/unecessary damage is not something anyone wants.

If the car sells, then I'll move onto something better, if not... I'll continue with the original plans. Mods feel free to delete any inappropriate posts or close the thread down altogether.

Ok, back on topic
Obviously theres a difference of opinion on how much we value the condition of our cars.
I agree with Ned here, it's been blown out of proportion.

Good luck with the sale Ned, hope it all works out for you.

If everything goes to plan, Ned will have something better than his EB (if it hasn't already sold, or if he hasn't changed his mind :P)

Goodluck with the sale Ned!

Just a warning, you may beat the swear filter, but you will have less chance of beating a banning, simple!

Thats a nice ride you have mate, bet your spittin that you gotta sell it.
I must admit, with paintless dent repairers around, i would rather own it with trolley dents than have it immaculate in so0meone elses garage.
I hope your new boosted Falcon project doesn't get trolley dents.
It costs alot of money to transfer cars every time you buy.

Good luck with it.

Ok EFFALCON. So I can make a funny/joke about the topic AT HAND, and it be deleted, but ned can make a snide remark about my mother(?) which has nothing to do with ANTYHING, but it is allowed to stay.

How about you go back to school and learn how to read?

Your mother deserved it! :P

Sif ned is gonna sell, although if he does get a bite at that price, he would be silly not to.

He is doing things smart IMO.

Go Ned Go!!

How about you don't make the comments in the first place, then i won't need to remove them.
if it were upto me i'd keep banning you when you cause problems.

I still don't understand why people sell their nice cars in fear of something so silly. There must be an underlying reason that we aren't being told.

a) None of our business, and

b) he's already stated that uni is taking its toll, I think alot of us have been there.

OK Dr. Phil aka Yagz, if you must know what you're not being told... it's a combition of a, b and c. But here's the main contributing factor... family emergency has come up overseas, parents are leaving soon and I owe dad money, I have no other way to pay him back but to sell the car, and I would like something a bit newer anyway, so it sorta kills two birds with the one stone (removed ).

I can get my hands on a shitter for uni, which is the plan, and yes Tiga EL, another e-series would have a reserved space in my garage when funds permitted. Preferably something along the lines of a boosted EL Fairmont Ghia.

So there you go. Everything's out in the open for ya.

well thats a fair reason, but i still have to agree with previos posts, street cars are meant to be driven on the street, i love me car to death to admitedly i don't leave down the street over night but i have no probs parking it in a car park, and if it gets dented its just another excuse for a new paint job lol

Why couldn't you have said that in the first place ned?

I think it's a great idea.

Methinks ned would rather have not disclosed that bit of info regarding the family emergency. Hence why initially, he didn't say it in the first place.

Because this isn't an online counselling service, it's a public forum. But yeh, that's the killer reason.

I don't see anything wrong with broadly stating that he had a family emergency? We're not going to look down on you at all, and if anyone asks for more information, there is plenty of time to tell them to *** off and mind their own business.
