Default Looking at this 1997 EL FAIRMONT GHIA

http://www.autotrader.com.au/search-...ubs_Used+Cars_
Its the 3rd last car from the bottom.
Now ive emailed the guy and ive successfully got it down to 9,000. What do you guys think overall about his car. Now he doesnt know what kw this car is but less assume its 164kw. What power could i easily get this car up to with lets say i had around $1,000? And just out of curiosity...what power realistically could the EL get up to overall. Im tied between whether to get an AUIII XR6 VCT or this EL. Could i get honest advice please. Thanks again.

The 3rd cars a burgundy Ghia in WA, but im assuming you want the white Ghia with EL GT wheels?

Stock power im guessing 120rwkw (?) a grand could get you exhuast & extractors as Juz said and push you to 130rwkw approx.

Just buy my car off me more powerful, manual and 70,000 less kilometeres _2:

It kinda looks like the color of the bumper is different than the car?? Hmm... 9,000 isnt a spectacular price.
Tell him to 'go sharpen his pencil and get back to you....'

You would want an EL Fairmont registered, transferred, roadworthy and a years insurance paid for under $8,000.
No matter what it has hanging off it (bodykit, wheels) doesnt add any value in my opinion.

So your telling me the cars below would be worth the same amount? e.g.

1997 Ghia, 100 000km, stock, $8000
1997 Ghia, 100 000km, 17" wheels, bodykit, sunroof, stereo, exhaust, $8000

You lose a lot of money on mods but it doesnt mean the cars not worth any more than a stocker :dr_Evil:

That Car was on eBay = the car dealer said it was better than an XR6 and got flamed for saying that.......

But what he meant was the car had more features than an XR6
