Damn that sounds nice. Sounds just like the XR8 that took off from the tolls yesty while I was in mums Forte towing the trailer. Damn quick too.

Sorry to say but it doesnt sound too special or seem that quick,what does it run at the drags?Not havin a go its just not that outstanding

ive got to say, im not a fan of mine from inside the cabin when the windows are up, the induction noise isnt the best. but put the windows down and the twin 2.5" system is something to smile about

coming from a stock system to me it sounded awsome, but hey, each to there own. As for the drags, i have no idea as i've never been. Your comments are fair enough and i'm not taking it as an insult, the main thing is that i'm happy with what i've done to it so far and the results i've achieved. Thanks for the constructive criticism though. I'll be sure to try and make her faster just for you.... and me too..... lol.

why would he want to make it go slower?

sounds good, one thing i am still in 2 minds about is my XR8's exhaust, I'm told it sounds great but sometimes I think it could be better. Full Herrod system though, so I doubt I'll ever change it.

It's not the exhaust that's changed the sound on my system, but the pod filter in the box, it's got a lot more grunt to it with the induction noise. sounds way better in real life though. What have done to your induction, That's where you'll make some nice gains in the sound to your system i reckon.

Ive got the big fatass snorkel on there and cut the front of the airbox off, sounds great under full acceleration, but i have another stock box here ready to go in as i dont want it sucking hot air in from the bay.

if you do a custom box and pod filter like the D&G ones, you'll get a great sound out of it and won't be sucking in hot air. You can make the box up yourself and just buy the pod filter, trust me.

yep the cam 'n bits are all in now, still need to do the high flow cats and roller rockers though. later on when finance permits will be doing the heads as well.

ok, so i take it the sound clip was with the cam installed?, and did it make 167rwkw with the cam?

Yep the sound clip is with the cam and the pod filter, it made 167.6 rwkw after the installs, but the tuner said that I should have quite a bit more power coming out of her. He attributes the low figure to the stock catalytic converters that are on the car still. Once i put in the high flow cats he said that he'll be able to tweak quite a bit more out of it.
