i know im a couple of days late but anywho, i took the missus to her first speedway experience on boxing day.
i haven't been since they closed down tomago speedway (in newcastle) a few years ago. gotta love the sound and speed the dirt track cowboys can do. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() took a video of the sprintcar a main race at the end of the night (well i got a couple of minutes of it anyway) watching this live is awsome, all you can hear is the roar of 24 v8's tearing around the track through the dust clouds. love it. ![]() p.s the missus is hooked on fords, drag racing, v8 supercars and now speedway. all i have to do is introduce her to f1 power boats :Up_to_som ![]() enjoy ![]()

Nice photos. I went to the Boxing Day meeting at our local Speedway (Baypark), it was so dusty when the Sprint Cars were on I could have taken up pottery with the amount of terracotta I washed out of my hair the next morning.
