Mate, that is a nice peace of work, very nice.

Also, considering the exclusivity of Landau's, and the amount of members here that have similar cars, it's no surprise to me that the owner of this one is a member.

Again mate, beautiful car.

Yeah thanks guys,
..........(I can hear crickets!)
I can take the p!ss out of myself as good as anyone, but people need to be very carefull what they say about people they don't even know, and by the sounds of it never will. And for them that's a shame. Did their mum's not teach them any manners?
davez104: I was lucky mate, I picked up a nice coupe with some good stuff done to her already. It was his (old owner's) pride, a credit. I can't take much credit for her (yet!) there's some big plans, that will take time, and I'll post 'em.
xr6 190: Thank you sir, Yes and there's a few more than 400 of them! Our web site (www.emazon.tv) was put together in record time by (my wife) and a couple of computer guys, it was serious work to get the 'meat' of it ready for the show (biggest loser), so we could capitalise on the exposure. Bare with the typo's guys, I didn't even know they were there.
Not everyone's as gifted as our mate gcg2503 at pointing out typo's!
Cheers!

MasterCard moment...

One tough chick with awesome car on Biggest Loser - $$$$
30 posts of dis'n the owner and car - $$$$
Finding out the owner and the car are on the forums reading the 30 posts... PRICELESS!!!

71 Val - I must say, that was very funny (from my point of view). I logged on, saw the pic of the car and thought "that's 71 Val's new toy"... then I read on... And it's funny how a foot in a mouth incident shuts everyone up...

Great car mate and don't take this one thread as a representation of the entire experience you'll have on here. PS - stick close to the Classic Falcons and Coupe Club brethren sections!!

Cheers

Well done 71 Val, your responses to unfounded allegations and innuendo have made my day.

What a surprise, the owner of a hot Ford is actually a member of AFF. Hope this goes out as a lesson to all of the morons here that made stupid comments, one day the person you are talking about may actually see and hear what you say so unless you have something nice to say it's best to say nothing unless you can actually back it up.

The silence of the members who made the posts are deafening.

BTW 71 Val that is a nice Landau, if you do decide on a "little" work please make a thread for us to watch in the Project Cars section.

I like the front end of the Landau, however I'm not a fan of the 1/4 windows, I reckon the 'normal' hardtop 1/4 windows look way cooler.

Nice one Mark! I found it quite funny that we had been chatting whilst this thread was going on....real easy for folk to say things without thinking of the concequences.....I don't think that any real harm was meant. Celebrity status can bring this on....typical Aussie "tall poppy syndrome" unfortunately but all in all we are a pretty good bunch and the forum can be a wealth of helpful knowledge.

I'll let you know when I'm next up the road- my bring my gold beast for a quick run!

Cheers, Jamie

WOW!
It's good to see the TRUE Aussie spirit is still kicking!
Here's a link to the show in case you missed it. I don't know if I'm a little bias or not, but it was a huge rush to see her on national television!
...The coupe looked pretty cool too!

http://www.thebiggestloser.com.au/vi...ckToPlay=false

And yes, emazon's just as bloody tough at home!

I will keep posts with the air bags, just about to go on tour after the show so I'm trying to time everything. Hopefully the Coupe will spend some time in the shop getting some COOOL stuff done!

Here's one of the publicity shots:

Thanks again

Mate, like I said earlier, nice car. Tell me, were the engine sounds dubbed or real? BTW, love the plates; suits your misses well.

Thanks for your comments ltd, before and on this last thread/page.
Mate I think she was dubbed a little, doesn't sound exactly like her, I don't know why..
I will ask the post production guys at the finale/party/thing.
Friday night (24th April) the show is live recorded, We're trying to get the Coupe back on for the finale! That'd be cool ay! See how we go!

I agree, the response has been PHENOMINAL over-all with the show -and the Coupe. I agree too with the 'pretty good bunch' bit! I'm learning more than I expected... Maybe we can get a guru on how to find coin for super-chargers!
Keep me posted for a cruize! that'd be cool!
