Default diesel identification

Since the Mondeo diesel was first released there have been three different state of engine tunes. I am a bit vague here but the first was approx. 96kW, then 103kW and now 120kW. I know you can identify the engines from the vehicle identification label but what are the codes for the three different states of tune.

Cheers

Maybe you will find the codes in the table here:

Mine has a 143 ps, or 105 kW engine. The engine description in ETIS is:

Duratorq 2.0L DOHC CR TC Dsl 143PS

This I believe was the most powerful 2.0 diesel before the 2010 upgrade, but according to a UK road tests a less powerful engine (98 kW) was fitted to the auto.

Confused?
