Since the Mondeo diesel was first released there have been three different state of engine tunes. I am a bit vague here but the first was approx. 96kW, then 103kW and now 120kW. I know you can identify the engines from the vehicle identification label but what are the codes for the three different states of tune.

Mine has a 143 ps, or 105 kW engine. The engine description in ETIS is:
Duratorq 2.0L DOHC CR TC Dsl 143PS This I believe was the most powerful 2.0 diesel before the 2010 upgrade, but according to a UK road tests a less powerful engine (98 kW) was fitted to the auto. Confused?
