Default What colour is my Falcon

Hey guys, i am looking at purchasing a body kit for my falcon, how do i find out what colour the car is atm so the kit can be matched to it??

check the I.D plate in the engine bay, there will be a code on it.

E.G mine is Q9.

then post it up here, im sure someone has got all the colour codes somewhere.

I had a feeling it was Cardinal Red, the Key ring that the dealer gave us back in 97 had cardinal red written on it.

Well if your talking about mixing and matching colors then yes the difference will be VERY noticeable :P

im pretty sure cardinal red was for ef's and regency red was for el's so being an el has to be regency.. correct me if im wrong

I had an ED that was cardinal red so maybe it changed with the introduction of the EL, makes sense to me.

My wagon is Cardinial red. Its amore a maroon red than a metallic/candy apple red (like yours)

cardinal red is holdens version of fords rosewood,,my paint code is f1 which is rosewood but holdens cardinal red is the same,,i've used both and can't see any difference at all..

According to the link that CRUIZIN EB put up, it is called "Vic Taxi Yellow" (very original) and has the paint code T7.
