Default Wont change gear

My 2.0lt Mondeo wont change gears unless you rev the crap out of it any ideas appreciated

Do you have the diesel with the powershift auto? I've found ours reluctant to change up at times, really annoying!

What happens if you move the selector to manual changes?

You probably should get someone to check for fault codes. If it changes OK in manual mode, then maybe something is wrong with the road speed sensor.

Just a wild guess, modern autos are complicated!

Hi thanks for responding mine is the 2LT petrol Ztec engine it wont change up at all unless you really rev it out to about 4000rpm it is as if it hasnt got a modulater valve and is relying on the governer to change

What year is it? I think we've all assumed that you have a Mk 4.
