Default Bluetooth software update for MA Mondeo

I have an MA Mondeo XR5 with bluetooth. My old phone worked well, but my new phone (a Nokia Lumia 800) will not pair with the car's bluetooth.

I understand there is a software update that can be applied to newer Mondeos via a USB device. However my MA Mondeo does not have a USB port.

Is there any way i can get the bluetooth software update into this car? I've asked my local ford dealer but he just looked at me blankly and then offered to supply a new bluetooth module (for $800).

I love my XR5 and also my new phone - if only they would talk to each other. Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like it all depends on what Bluetooth module you have.
Found a write up here > http://www.talkford.com/topic/190143...e-without-usb/ where they go into part numbers.
Also copied & pasted from same forum "Bluetooth Module is located behind dash, above glovebox. Remove the glove box, 4 screws and 2 bolts, be careful to disconnect all the cable plugs, the module is the at the back of the silver trim on the passenger side of the dash, held by one screw"
Hope this helps.
