Default Goodbye AU2

Well i havnt been on here in quite some time
but none the less i thought i would say goodbye to the AU falcon forum as i sold mine a little over 2 months ago. Those of u who live in Adelaide i was the owner of a 2001 S2 AU XR6, it was red with white stripes over the entire car from front to back.
Im now the proud owner of a 2011 FG XR6 in Ego color
which is a charcoal metallic paint, the shade before black. And i tell ya what after driving the AU with its 2.5" catback to the FG with the same 2.5" catback custom made for the FG, the AU is a turtle.

Anyway, as little as i have posted here, i have taken alot of info from these forums when i had the AU, and i learnt alot.
Cyas around

indeed they are a good bit of kit, even driving my mates bf2 xr6 with 6 speed auto , it`s no wonder they don`t sell 8`s like they used to, the inline six is an awesome bit of gear, good luck to you mate, enjoy your new limo.

thanks guys,
Ur right about the I6s tho
There putting out some amazing speeds and acceleration.
Im keeping mine stock this time, as i said got the catback, but not changing anything else to it. I got my 18" chromies on it from the AU as well.
I got my wedding to save for so the car remains as is. Which is bloody nice anyway.
Not sure if im looking in the wrong place, but i cant seem to find an FG falcon forum on this site, ive found one else where with lots of info, but yeah wouldnt have minded one here.

Thanks mate
Ive seen my old AU once since i sold it, and a guy at work saw it on Jetty Rd at Glenelg, I saw it out south of adelaide. So im guessing someone around that part of adelaide bought it. Kinda funny it seems like its returned to almost where it came from.
