Default pricing

Looking at buying a new focus ambiente and salesman not budging on the driveaway price advertised $21890 and was wondering if anyoneis getting a better deal. I am used to getting screwed by country dealers when the nearest rival is 500 kms away and then they get sh*tty when you buy from the city dealer.

I always check out the "Discountnewcars.com.au" web site so I know what deal is around

I did an exercise on this for someone through a dealership I deal with and it's pretty much on the money.

Probably a bit late now but today I read in the S.A. Advertiser that the Toyota Corola, Masda 3, and Ford Focus base manual models will all be priced at $19990 to compete with the shortly to be introduced new Nissan Pulsar plus I saw the base model manual Focus Ambiente on display in the Colonades shopping centre today, it was priced at $19990 plus ORC

I am watching the price of the Ambientes.
Topender is no doubt looking at an auto which are 21Kplus.

The manual hatch can be got at 18990+ in Bris/Gold Coast.

I have yet to see an ambiente sedan manual advertised.
