Hi All
Just a curious question, we bought a brand new ford focus for my wife. happy wife means happy hubby Ok my question: my wife works nights and she has told me that there is no light around the ignition key for her to see it....the only way she can see where it is is to have the door open, look around the steering wheel to place the key in, not a good thing when you are in a carpark with the door open just to put a key in hey.....might have to email ford on that safety issue.... Is this right??? I thought it was a basic standard thing, my god, even my old ED had one one would think a brand new car would have to have it.... But if it has to be it will be, is there an aftermarket light of any kind??? Thanks Jungle |

Yup, its a ***** (female dog), hard to find that hole even in daylight. Only just getting use to it after a month.

Turn the steering wheel a small amount when you park the car. The key hole is then visible and easy to locate for putting the key in.
