Unhappy sad email

i received this very sad email today. It really hits home if you are a parent. To think that somebodies child is lost like that not remembering who they are or where they belong is to much for even the toughest parents.

IMPORTANT!
SHE IS AT THE PHUKET HOSPITAL.
SHE DOES NOT REMEMBER ANYTHING.
SHE LOST HER PARENTS.
PLEASE FORWARD THIS E-MAIL, SOMEONE MIGHT REALIZE WHO SHE IS. THANK YOU.

Call me a skeptic. but I doubt that the "Phuket" (say that outloud) hospital is relying on an internet medium to find out who some kid is..

you never know it could be a volunteer doing it. But to just think that this is happening makes you wonder. Its sad enough to deal with adults but worse when its children. i just thought people might be interested.

Well actually this is how they were doing it. It was documented in various news stories that people could log onto websites to check and see if people they know, friends, family etc had been found, or hadnt survived.

I did however get one of these emails a few days back - replied with 'no, he's not mine'.

this could be another child/ sex thing, Why would there be missing people still? surly there is someone who was asking for their friends or family if they didnt return from holidays.

To be honest, I was kind of surprised it was legit - there's a hell of a lot of fake "sympathy" emails out there... :
