Default Contacting NSW police for a show display?

Currently in the process of organizing a charity AFD and would love to see the 2 GT's, F-150 and some of their historic cars on display. Is it as simple as rocking up to the LAC/police station and talking to them? Or is there a proper channel to go through to get their support?

Cheers.

The services have always been very suportive of the FTF Car Clib yearly shows, with representation of Fire, Police, St John's etc as well as some of their older vehicles on display last year. Just try and get in nice and early, to give plenty of notice.

We have always been grateful for any vehicles they have been able to bring to the shows.

Back when I was doing AFD we always just used to talk to the local HWP sergeant and they submitted the request from there. I often found that dealing with them was better because they knew what you were doing as opposed to being just another email or phonecall to an office in sydney.
