Default Second Hand Ranger

Im looking to get myself a decent second hand ute (on a limited budget $15K). I want a dual cab with a manual and have been looking at Rangers around 2008 to 2010. A lot are the hi-rider models with the 3 litre TD. Most of these have done 100k to 280K in kilometres. If I could get a decent 4 x 4 for this price would be good, but a little bit out of my price range I think.

Can anyone give me some advice on one of these? What I should be looking out for? Problems with this model etc? Any help would be appreciated.

I have also been looking at Navaras, BT50s (I know these are the same) Tritons etc. Hiluxs are way over priced in my book.

Totally depends on what you plan on doing with it... There is nothing wrong with a hi rider if you dont plan on towing really heavy things or drive on anything more than a dirt track. A Wildtrack will get you more street cred though.
