Default How much PAIN ?

Hi all,
I was wanting to fire up my Clevo after being dormant for many years.
Cleaned around base of distributor, removed it and to my annoyance there was some undetected dirt under the distributor housing, and as it goes, some entered the block through distributor hole.
How much pain am I looking at ????

You could gaffer tape a smaller hose to the end of you vacuum and try to suck as much out as you can to start.

I'd just tip a few liters of cheap oil down the distributor hole at speed then do a cold engine oil and filter change.

Thanks guys,
I was thinking of a flush also.
I spose with a combination of suck n flush might help do the job.
Ill sit back for a cuppla days and cool off a bit, see if there's anymore ideas and decide on a plan.

Cheers

I would be thinking a bit like Aussieblue except I would just wash it down into the sump with a couple of litres of diesel then maybe another couple of litres to flush the sump out.You haven’t run it so the crud will just wash down.

Hi all, I thought I posted this Sunday night, but mustn't of pressed post,
SO
I'd like to thank all who contributed with suggestions of solutions to my dallema.
What I thought was a diabolical situation, turns out to be a not so unusual event.
Armed with suggestions from this forum and other contacts my worries are gone, along with the contaminants that invaded the block.
Thanks again
