New Sync 3.4 update rolling out

I have an SA Focus and it was updated by me to SYNC3 v3.4.21194 in June 2021 by downloading it from the Ford website. I make the comment that the process is not straight forward and the instructions are not up to date. Maybe Ford have decided to only let the dealers do it now.

Basically just another dealership money grab, the dealers are charging $80 to update the firmware. On every other piece of gear I have, TV's, DVD players, computers etc where a firmware upgrade is required that is done free without a charge so why is Ford charging? :(
