Default Anyone got their own home-based business?

Hello boyz and girlz

Im curious to know if anyone has their own home-based and web-based/eBay businesses?

If so what do you do? part time/full time? How satifying is it working at home?

Im actually thinkin of starting a web-based business in the future so id like to see if there are many people who do well with it. dont forget to put down your web address too.

I don't but a mate does.

He gets dvd's from distributors real cheap and then sells them online thru his ebay shop. He makes a decent amount of money out of it too. Its only a part time thing while he works his normal day job.

I own & operate Nev-R-Slip P/L
I specialise in non-slip floor treatments for tile & concrete surfaces
It is a treatment not a coating ( chemical reaction with the silica content in / on the surface )
IE:
Bathrooms
Kitchens
Laundrys
Front & rear verandahs
Pathways
Shower rooms
Toilet blocks
etc
indors & outdoors

very good buisness

For those of you who've lost you GRIP
Well i'm here to give you a tip
If you want a better Grip
Then you have to call Nev-R-Slip

me and a friend are about to launch a local website(it's going to be huge we hope), just sorting out the nitty gritty things.... business cards, domain names, dns etc.

Anyone know of a good e-commerce provider to use so we can recieve our payments from clients?

and no, it's not porn! But not far from

I make wooden products, but only been selling to mates/work colleges so far to build up my tools. About to register a ABN and start selling to shops.

Heres the last thing I made

I began 'Affiliate Marketing' about 3 years ago (I'm disabled, so can only manage a couple of days work a week in the real world).

I started out doing everything wrong (which is not uncommon) and slowly learnt the right ways etc, until I decided to write an ebook advising newbies how to go about this particular type of online Home Business.

I also operate other websites that are Home Based Business oriented, although they are primarily a vehicle to promote the book.

As for how well I do. Well, I don't make a habit of revealing incomes etc, but I can say that if a bloke (or sheila) is serious about making a living (or supplementing their existing income), it can be done quite comfortably, although it does take a while to get established, contrary to what a million 'gurus' will tell you (i.e. listed in Search Engines, cultivating backlinks to your site etc etc) and the usual firm commitment that anything worthwhile requires.

Rule one: Only believe about 5% of what you read!!

I don't normally mention my sites in Forums, especially one as unrelated to Home Biz as this, BUT you did ask for it.......lol

Thanks
