Default Ebay Easter Cash Hunt!

http://pages.ebay.com.au/cash-hunt/index.html

The link above is a link to the ebay easter cash hunt.. They give you a clue, you then decrypt the clue, and search for a listing you think it may relate to. There are dummy listings setup around ebay with a bunny attached to it, and if you can find that listing with the clue provided, you win $100..

The Clue number 9 was 'X Marks the spot'..

The winner;

Clue 9 "X marks the spot" has been found.

We are excited to announce the winner of Clue 9 for the eBay.com.au Easter Cash Hunt.

Member Michelle Edwards, found the item "New Red Tail Light Cover - suits Ford early models".

Michelle will receive $1000 from eBay.com.au via her PayPal account. Congratulations Michelle!

Because we know about fords, i thought we could try and decrypt how 'X marks the spot' relates to 'New Red Tail Light Cover - suits Ford early models'.

I'm going to take a punt and say the tail light cover was for an X Series falcon??

Any other guesses?

The clues are quite hard..

I reckon you've gotta just happen to stumble accross the right listing..

Someone on fordforums should have won clue number 9!!! :P

LOL Yagz, I was trying to do this yesterday with the Missus. Most of the damn clues are ridiculous!! And you're right, most of these people probably win by fluke.
