Russ! You legend. It's not all that expensive and providing I dont tap it into my bumper to secure it, it's really only held on by double sided tape which should be easy enough to remove.
I think I'll make that ebay purchase and see how I go Thanks again! |

No worries mate, I was thinking about getting one for my LV a while ago as well but it's already pretty low in the front with the Kings SL springs fitted, it's fine now but any lower and it may become a pain when negotiating some driveways

It's bendable so it will contour more to the lines of the bar rather than just be curved like mine is. Double sided tape didn't seem to hold it too well for me, so I went with the screws.

It really helps if you clean the surface thoroughly first. I bought a box of alcohol wipes from the chemist years ago and I still have a fair few left. They are excellent for cleaning surfaces when applying anything with D.S tape.

New rims LOOK TOUGH!
I had a black BMW 1er when they first came out. LOVED how slick it looked after a good days detailing. I just hated how often it needed to be washed. I wouldn't let anyone wash it either as swirl marks and scratches would do my head in. Truly a love hate relationship haha. |

Recently painted the rims and grill black - grill originally had a silver frame. I spent just under 100 for the spray paint all up.

Meguiars Swirl-X or Scratch-X are good off-the-shelf options. If it's just swirls, the former will probably suffice. Always use the least abrasive option first when polishing.

Thanks Frozen, it's funny you should say that about the bonnet protector, I actually removed it the other week to polish underneath it and I thought it looked odd without it Mind you when I first fitted it I wasn't too keen on it either but it's grown on me, for now at least
