that wasnt the first start ;)
it had been started prior to that, but we had to put more power steering fluid in, also some more water.

Siiiiccckkkk!! Can't wait to see it out and about...

Looks like mine will be coming off the road just as this one will be getting on the road :( Mine needs some serious attention. And I was looking forward to having some sort of dose-off.

Here's a pic of i got upto earlier today. As i said, it's still not the cleanest, but it's 10x better than how it looked. I may look into hiding the wiring even more further down the track, but this is good enough for now. (anyone who saw what the wiring was like will know this is a shit load better)

It's all going to be done...

There will be a custom cover made for the ABS. With the resevoir bottle, i may get polished cover made up or even get a complete replacement unit made out of aluminium. And yes i have misplaced the cover for those relays so that's another thing that will be done.

steve was the abs conversion difficult ? i want to retrofit EF+ abs to the EB (eb1 with no factory ABS), but no one seems to know specifically how to do it ?

Steve installed a full wiring loom set from an EF Ghia, which had ABS, meant all the provisions were already there.

Well guys, apart from securing lines/looms and a brake bleed, the car is ready for a test run. All the brake lines are completed, tailshaft was installed, clutch cable was done and a new winscreen was fitted.

To itemize exactly what is left before i can drive it

Fill with brake fluid and bleed system
Make sure all hoses, lines and looms are secured
Refill gearbox with fluid (had a bit of a spill yesterday :P)
Fix water leak from back of water pump

Everything else seems to be in order, i have a slight vacuum and exhuast leak that needs to be soughted, but i'll take her for a quick spin around the block to see how she drives first. Only thing is i'll haveto wait till monday, as tomorrow i'm incredibly busy and the day after is GOR cruise. As i've posted in the GOR thread, it won't be attending. The only reason it's not going is because i simply don't want to drive it that far so close after completion. I would have liked to atleast get 2 or 3 days of local driving done before hand, not to mention i need to learn manual first :P

I'll let you all know how she goes
