this is a tough one as both choices are terrible for fitting surfboards in

Instead:

Audi RS4/RS6 wagon
That Range Rover 2 door that they canned
F-Pace SVR
RRS SVR

Question: have Lambo or Ferrari ever done a wagon?

Lambo Urus. New SUV wagon albeit you'd need roof racks I suspect.

The Lambo Espada (1970 or so) could maybe fit one with seats down!

Ferrari GTC4Lusso is close, drop the rear seats and lay the passenger forward and you'd get a surfboard in, if still not long enough leave the hatch open like an old Panel Van

I would get an Aston Martin Vantage if I had ridiculous money coming out my wazoo.
No particular reason why.
Have no idea how it stacks up against Ferrari or Lambourgini.
I guess I see that brand as some kind of underdog compared to the others.
Not something one normally thinks about.

Yep, can I add to that ENZO Ferrari and Lambo Aventador SVJ please. And if the lotto/finances were big enough, why not a Bugati Chiron just for good measure!
This is excluding the muscle car collection of coarse.
Add in 71 Hemi Cuda Convertible, 1969 1/2 Dodge Super Bee, Few Dodge Vipers, Few hennessey modified vehicles etc etc.

I'd be happy with any supercar to be honest. But seeing as my 6yo nephew is a Mclaren Fan, I chose that option. He is a fan of the Mclaren P1's & 720S models. But I wouldnt say no to a Mclaren Senna.

That said, I much prefer something more understated. Something that slides under the radar to an extent and doesn't scream 'look at me', but has all the fruit under the skin.

Same. Can live with it daily, yet still destroy 99.9% of cars on the road. Porsche's strategy with the 911 continues to pay dividends - incremental improvements with each new model. I'm struggling to see what more they can do with it, short of a hybrid powertrain.

Ferrari F458 Speciale. Why? The last naturally-aspirated V8 on offer or a F430 as it's the last to utilize (damn you auto-correct) a Manual Transmission for the purists amongst us.

Question: have Lambo or Ferrari ever done a wagon?
I'm pretty sure the Shah of Iran had Ferrari build him some custom Ferrari wagons. He had all sorts of supercars made into wagon versions. Had some sort of weird thing for them.

I'm super impressed by the new 911 Turbo S. Could drive it everyday and it would hose just about everything short of the most expensive hyper cars. Not that i'm a huge Porsche fan, but it just does the business. 0-60 mph in 2.6 seconds and 10.5 quarter mile.

I'm not sure why couldn't drive a Ferrari or Lambo every day like a Porsche.

They are all mild mannered at city speeds now.

Saw an Audi R8 at the beach today, have always loved the look of that. You could get it as a mid mounted V8 manual, no?

Was it as good as the other supercars, or something lesser?

Previous impracticality applies as well

Oh that's easy. The 911 is THE choice for the middle aged pot bellied phallically insecure gentleman with optional comb over looking for an 18yo girlfriend, but who also wants room for golf clubs and bags of those frozen meals for when he's eating in (cos the ex wife got most of the $$$).

Or at least that's why I want one...

The R8 will continue to drop second hand. Right now gallardos and V10 R8s are about the same $$ second hand, so I'd take the gallardo for looks and resale.

The list is for dreams, we've watched in movies, car races around the world.
Pedigree.
No matter your choice vehicles you can can only dream of.
I'm an ol Ferrari fanboi and F1 supporter but I aslo love many other marques for they all create their own personality.
Enzo's first effort 250GT Coupe is a beauty of lines and muscle.
His style is opposite to Lambo so nothing like for like most times.
Love Lambos/Porsche's/Veyrons/Koensiggs/Bentlys/Astons you name it, dream cars.
I'll take a Ferrari first
