Or are you just peddling the bogan lore.......red always beats blue....
A bit harsh!

Was like he had gone out of his way to hide it, and to make sure he had a lot of Holden propaganda on the opposite page so maybe people wouldn't notice it.

For goodness sake, it was only a peoples choice award, there could have been hundreds of 14 year old boys voting for all they knew. Last year the editors of Carsguide gave the COTY to the Falcon G6ET, they loved the car - why would they have awarded the Falcon last year if they are were so 'biased'.

Got to remember the tires ont he Commodores. They don't exactly help racing around corners.

too right youssef...holden has marketed the SIDI models (incl. 3.6 version) as all the great aspects and more of the large aussie six with the lowest fuel burn out there (even 4pot equally apparently). In addition to not matching their fanciful efficiency claims real world they have also hobbled the car in a range of areas to do it.

One wonders just what gave them the bigger gains, the new engines or the low rolling resistance tyres, the extra gears and the can of go (delete even space saver) in the boot now too.... Hell they even run higher tyre pressures than ford...how desperate can you get?

The XR6 is faster and isn't burning any more fuel. No excuses needed at Ford Ausrtralia now is there??

One day these so called motoring mags will find some people who can actually peddle a car down the 1/4 and then they will have some reliable figures.
