Diecast models mainly.

1:64, 1:43, 1:24 and 1:18

I used to collect stamps, and collector spoons when I was younger.

Gadgets, my biggest downfall, the money spent on gadgets would finance a 45sq penthouse in any capital city

Collectibles! I've got lots of silly little things around, from Pepsi cans years ago when they had the three different flavours Pepsi Slam I think they were called.
I've got a few diecast cars as well, various sizes.
AC/DC T-shirts, about 30 of them, I don't wear them anymore though (haven't for years).
But mainly the things I collect now are The Simpsons merchandise and Stubby Coolers. When I was in the Air Force I'd always buy a stubby cooler in every town/city I visited, now the bulk of my collection are Ford V8 Supercar teams!

Collectors = Hoarders = Junk = ME ....

Seriously , I'm afraid I'm pretty sentimental and like collecting " Family Heirlooms " , very old photo's ,specially old farming equipment , horse-drawn and early tractor-drawn .

Being a muso since 1966 , I like collecting old guitars , records (LP's & 45's) and old Guitar Amps . One I would like to fix up is a "Vadis" Amp , 40 watt valve head & 2 X speaker boxes with 2 X 12" speakers in each box .

Oh , "hindsight" would have been great , in my younger years I've had , 1 X 25w , 1 X 40w , 1 x 60w Vadis amps & when I had my shop I had 3 X 100w amps & 1 x 200w PA as Hire gear. but I hadn't decided to collect them then : :

I've got a 3 car garage with no room for a car , so I'd better stop there

I have full sets of NRL cards going from 1994 to 1996, as well as seasons 1 and 2 of X-Files, and several others (Star trek: Voyager, Chromium Conan set and more).

Pride of place goes to my Dick Johnson/DJR die-cast collectibles (the 1:18 scale Johnson/Johnson AU from Bathurst and 'The Rock' XD in 1:18 scale as well as a pile of 1:48 and 1:64 DJR cars over the years from XD to BA). Along side them is my collection of signed and unsigned St.George/St.George Illawarra Dragons player cards going back to the early 70s.

Although it's a one-off I also have an unopened can of Tooheys celebrating the 1989 Bathurst 1000. I have a heap of these little memorabillia one-offs, rather than a collection of the same item (40th anniversary Status Quo pewter bottle opener, and stuff like that).

I collect Vintage cameras Kodak mainly the oldest being a Box Brownie from 1901.
I also just started collecting Hot wheels cars because they where on special @ K-Mart.
I put a couple on eBay and people bought them for more than I did so now I buy and sell and just make sure I buy 2 of the ones I like so I can keep one.
I sold a 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL for over $10 and I only bought it for $1

Collect watches and audio gear at the moment but when I was a child it was matchbox cars that I still have stored away at my parents.

I collect vintage radios. Had close to 150 of various types, portables, table top models, big consoles, A few Gramophones and a 1909 Edison Phonograph (WAX cylinder type)
Ive downsized of late. They only take up half of the double garage now.

What do you use to replace the drilled out rivets? I have a few 1/43 Corgi Batmobiles and all new bits to restore them, but need to find a way of securing the bases.

Hi if you dont drill the rivets out all the way you can still snap the bases back on. May not be the most secure but if they are only for display purposes then they will be fine.
