A man goes into a hardware store and asks the assistant for something. The assistant responds, "Four will cost you $3, ten will cost you $6, and two hundred will cost $9." What is the man buying?

Ive got one:

A fully laden truck weighing in at 20t start driving across a 5km bridge that can only hold 20T before it will collapse. It makes it to the middle where it breaks down, and a large bird (falcon / pelican etc) lands on the truck, why does the bridge not collapse?

(do not mention safety factors etc, that is not the correct answer, although in reality that would solve it)

Perhaps the driver took a massive dump during the first half of the bridge.

I recon its fuel usage has lessened the load

A man is replacing a wheel on his car, when he accidentally drops the four nuts used to hold the wheel on the car, and they fall into a deep drain, irretrievably lost. A passing girl offers him a solution which enables him to drive home. What is it?

Because when the truck broke down the driver got out? or the reason the truck broke down was because it had a fuel/oil/water leak? either way, the truck now weighs less, to make up for the birds weight...

A person was looking a picture of a person and says out loud, 'Brothers and Sisters have I none, but that man's father is my father's son'.
Who is in the picture?
