A mate was looking at a Nissan GT R on carsales being advertisedf or 49 990. Couple days later he found the same one with same pictures on eBay with a few bids on it already. Price was up to 34k with no reserve. He contacted the seller and asked if it was the same car from carsales. 5 mins later and the eBay add was pullled.

Fully wish I had got in on this yesterday while it was happening - hate scammers with a screaming passion.

Besides, all they want is a Commodore.
Moving away from the topic
Anyone can own a V8
Not everyone can buy one or drive one
If you read the rest of my post I'm saying that being scammed on an XB couple is unlikely
But a few kids have been scammed on later model cars such as XR6's being advertised well under market rates

Funny...as I get older I also find myself starting to think this way. A fool and his money are soon parted...

I want it to be the perfect graduation gift for him and am making it a surprise package ,Does it have any history I should be aware of? and why are you selling if you don't mind my asking. I don't mind adding an extra $100.00 for you just to take down the posting..I am already in talks with freighters that will handle the pickup and delivery .I will really appreciate if you can email more info

Due to the nature of my work i am a very busy man working all day,am a sailor am presently on-board, i don't have access to my bank account online as am not with my credit card details here but i have my ANZ bank account link up with my PayPal account so I will be paying you through PayPal to your nominated bank account or better still is if you have a PayPal account ,please get back to me with your BSB and account details or PayPal account so i can proceed with the payment and contact the courier agent who will come to pick it up and deliver it in NT for my son .Await your reply .
Unbelievable I got basically got the same one the other night, where he was buying it for his son that just graduated from the same uni except this guy was a miner with the exact same problem that he didn't have his financial details but was all set up the same except it was with the commonwealth bank. Gave the scumbags an absolute revving and added the incident to my listing, then, funny thing happened, about an hour later I got a text message from the scumbags saying: FRAUD WARNING! Text sent from rockstaragent1010@gmail.com is a SCAM to steal your money! Report to Police. Couldn't believe it, as it was the same ar$€holes that texted me with the crap about wanting to buy my car! then warning me that it was a scam, I don't know, maybe a scammer with a conscience I tell you what, if I got hold of the scumbags they would be the ones needing to be, at least, calling the police the scumbag bastards.

Similar scam listings were happening with Bobcat skidsteers. The picture backgrounds just did not look like Australia, and of course, they were too cheap.
