How about you print a few signs with ONE, TWO and a couple with PER PERSON on them just incase? Only to pull out if we decide we need them.

I think we will stick to 1 per person and see how we go... If people come back a bit later we definately wont refuse them providing we still have food!!

^^ Sounds like a plan..

Must remember tomorrow, to all attending, first and foremost is our safety. We need a suitable location that is as dry and clean as we can reasonably find. We will be making food so being knee deep in **** is not high on my list of wants for a location lol.

Having our blokes slipping and sliding, hobbling around on broken ankles and risking contaminating the good food we are taking is not condusive to the plan.

I have just driven through the rocklea area, what a war zone but the roads are open (most of them).

If you want to bring a Gerni, bring it because I am bringing the genny and a long extension cord (going to lend it to a near by house while we are there).

By the way, don't bother washing your car before hand (I know us car nuts love our cars clean), the Mini now has mud all up the side from driving through. I would strongly suggest you all have towels etc that you can put on your seats, the mud is everywhere.

Also, lets be really careful driving around there, a lot of traffic lights are out, give way to the right and take it easy.

If we get a chance to drive past ABC wreckers on the Ipswich Motorway, the water level was up to the plane on the pole, wait to you see the water mark on the Ipswich Motorway flyover at Granard road, unbelievable.

See you all tomorrow, this is going to be great to lend a hand.

What is more incredible is how quick it came in, I was on shift in that area that night.

Just thought of something else to shove in the car, I will bring my small esky and a garden hose for the karcher. I just hope the boot of the typhoon will fit it all, kind of wish we still had the SP.

Im heading over to the Rocklea markets about 10ish to help clean up a couple of the shops there where so many uninsured businesses have lost everything. Im happy to drop off our big icebox esky and anything else you need to you at Elite before i head over to start helping with the clean up.

^^^^The esky sounds great to me. Not sure how the others are going for room to move it though, I know I won't have room.

I can't bring an esky, I can't find the damn lid. I will pick up some ice though. I have a few cutting boards and knives/tongs etc.

Too easy. Is there anything else you might need. We have a gazebo/marque, i think its about 2.5x2.5, it would fit over the top of the trailer/bbq to keep you in the shade, its also waterproof.

Hi guys.

Damian (Xciting) from XR5 owners club here.

I think this is a great idea and I would like to help.

I can assist in any way you want me too, I can cook a mean sausage, or I can help hand them out.

I also have a good size tarp, poles and guy ropes if needed.

Please let me know how I can help and when

Cheers

Damo

Hi Guys, add me for Sunday. (Unfortunately had plans before I saw the thread today). No esky, but I can bring a ute full of buckets that I can fill with ice to keep drinks cool. If there is anything else required (extra meat, food, etc), please let me know.

If you guys need any further monetary donations I'm happy to chip in a 50.

Would love to be able to get in and help first hand, but money is all I can give.
