Audi for their brilliant 1.8/2.0L turbo motors
Toyota for their stupidly good resale value and reliability

I'm a fan of Jeep & LandRover. They don't muck around when they commit to offering enthusiasts what they want in an off-roader. Dana diffs, sway bar disconnects, hose-out interiors etc etc.
Lamborghini. Who says a tractor manufacturer can't build a Ferrari beater. Got to drive a Gallardo and Ferrari 430 last year and it was like chalk and cheese. The Lamborghini is just nuts. Since I was a kid I had Miura, Countach, Diablo and Gallardo pics pinned up to dream about..

The inner boy in me would kill for an Evo 9 Lancer. The business man in me would love a sexy red Audi.

Lexus - because the whole experience is a good one.
Merc - because a C63 is my car porn. Jag - old soft spot from growing up in a 5.3lt V12. Love that sound, would hate to put the fuel in these days! Holden/HSV - we have fast Falcons because they have fast Commodores. |

Jaguar - the XJ's of the 1970s my grandfather owned. Such flair, British opulence, and woodgrain!
Toyota - for the Landcruisers, great memories all over Oz. Holden - like Gobes, prior to 1979. Soft spot for HR, LC Torana, and HQ-Z. If heaven is indeed suburban, we will find Kingswood wagons there, being frightened by all the GT's roaring around... |

Mazda, my favorite Japanese car company, love their 3 and 6 range, RX8 is a bit meh, but I'd still have one
I love the Mazda Familia GTX from the early 90s and the Turbo TX3 AWD. I love Toyota from the 90s, so many nice sports cars, now they're just mr white goods average. Honda, as much as I hate the way they treated me at the dealership, love the late 80s CRX and the 90s Integra Type R. Other than that, death to Honda. |

Have a thing for Jaguar, Aston Martin, Chevrolet and BMW.
BMW is probably my favourite brand because of the 1990s. Excellent time for BMW. Plus they are very supportive of RWD and Straight 6s.
