Mine is slated for somewhere between Feb and April next year. I'm not too concerned about the long wait but after seeing the Yellow Ford Dealer car and the KPM Orange one I'm really excited!!

How about yours?

I watched an interesting video the other day that had a guy talking about muscle cars in particular, and I think I actually subscribe to what he was preaching without really knowing.
It went something like this:
" Why would you become one eyed about a single brand or type of car? It would be like saying "I'm only ever going to date blondes" or "I'm only ever going to eat Beef". Think of what you are missing out on by taking that attitude. Sure, have a preference, but to completely say you would never own or drive brand X or Y is to deny yourself so many great things when there is just so many good cars out there at the moment."

Maybe some of the Holden boys saw it too!

Chrysler Australia new boss has made a business case for both Charger and Challenger in Australia and is awaiting further approvals from Head Office. They are expecting the go ahead for the new 2017 model to be built RHD with factory dash.

If they were to bring them in now, both the Charger and Challenger dash is too expensive to convert for a limited market and would be installed with 300C SRT dash and Instruments. Not actually a bad way to crack the market.

Hellcat Versions of Charger, Challenger and Cherokee have been requested.

We miss out on "Recaro premium seats"...?

If they're anything like the "you'll only fit if you're a jockey or a midget" Recaros in the Focus ST, they can keep them...
But coming from the USA I can't see them being that tiny.

That is one of the most sensible things I've ever seen...if people were honest with themselves, and they truly "loved cars", they'd know that there is a myriad of great cars out there today, all good and fun in their own way. Oh sure we all have favourites, but turning your back on something just because of the badge on it? Come on...who knows what you might be missing out on.

Unfortunately RHD versions are unconfirmed at this point.
Isn't that exactly why they'll be 100k plus cars? Unless they start magically building a global comaro.... It'll cost a lot to get them here. I wonder if the comaro has a buissiness case to go global like the mustang has. The mustang is a pretty historical famous car. Not sure the comaro comes close!

You’re right on the money about the history and fame of the Camaro, I don’t think many people would have heard of it.

In 5 or so years it’ll be interesting to see how Ford’s business case for a global Mustang has worked out.

That's what i'm talking about - a global Camaro would need to go head to head with the global Mustang.

Limited number RHD conversions need not apply, they'd definitely be $100K+

And being a Holden/Chev man the Camaro is one of my Favorite all time cars (1968-1969) if I was to buy a muscle car that would be it BUT, the new Camaro is just not that good looking....I dont think it does the older Camaros justice like the Mustang and Dodge do? They seem to represent the traditional shape and unique body styles the Camaro doesn't.....

I like the old Mustang and I like the new Mustang. I like the old Camaro and I like the new Camaro. I will say though that the Mustang does seem to evolve much like the 911.

Basically I like the idea of a 2 door coupe with a powerful V8 in it and considering that the Commodore and Falcon are almost done that this might be the only war that might be comparable. I think GM will use the sales of the Mustang to weigh up a business case to bring the Camaro and/or Corvette to Australia.

I wonder how many people will be tempted to void their warranty and fit struts? First mod for many owners and agreed, it's a bit cheap!

Otherwise, that blue... *drools* Magnificent colour!
