My 1990 EAII is only just run in! When I got it 3.5 years ago, It'd done 148,000.

I remember parking next to a mint XE GL a few years ago, took a peak inside and it had just 36,000kms on it.

Just for a laugh, heres the odometer reading on the Escort I'm selling:
 Notice how it only reads up to 99,999kms, then goes back to 00000 :hihi:

mines got 96000 on the clock (approx) although thats the second cluster, so the cars done approx 215,000 and 1 head gasket

mine had 178,000km on it when i bought it 16 months ago, now it has 217,000
