To be fair, it was a bargain and I haven't seen one that cheap since. Plus it didn't mention what kind of condition it was in and I didn't bother asking because I'm not in the market for one.

Yeah I think Ill be hard pressed finding another one that cheap.
Ill get the car first then decide what to do, I think NA will be the easier/cheaper option at the moment. At least until the torana is finished. Ive already got a ghia interior, mpfi conversion and a cam lined up! I hope the car drives alright.

I think a FMX/Toploader and a 8 and 3/4 inch diff are in order! Chuck in a 253 while ur at it! You should have one lying around with all those Torrie parts and ИИИИ.

About as much as a EA is worth..nothing. Seriously Dan though, mate, you get talked in to doing ИИИИ to easily. You'll have about 15 projects on the go soon and none will be getting anywhere so we'll have to start calling you Trouty... Sundeep |

Personally if i bought a CFI EA for $200, especially a GL, i would just keep up the regular oil changes e.t.c. and thrash the thing. Get abit of fun out of it, its not worth spending money on it IMO. Anyways even with CFI the 5 speed should get some nice burnouts happening :thebirds:

But I want to tow!
Its okay, Im not a stranger to spending stupid amounts of money on an e series that costs bugger all :P The mods I want to do wont be expensive. Ghia interior would be like $200, paint would be $350ish, cam $120, exhaust and extractors Ill find somewhere second hand. Nitrous I already have, Superlows $200, 15 inch stockies $120 from the wrecker. Stereo I already have. Thats like $1000 plus rego for a good looking cruiser/tow car with a bit of punch. Bargain!

we'll see mate, we'll see.
If I get the car, it will be registered then the other stuff will happen soon after. Interior, superlows, stockies, MPFI and nitrous are definates. Exhaust and extractors might have to wait. Paint will happen when my mate and I can be bothered and have a free weekend. It will be sick, i have to get the car first though. It might not run or it will blow smoke in which case I wont bother.
