Hey your sound system is crap!!!!

First you don't mix 6x9's with subs...It sounds ****... second you don't buy 12's... third get something better then JL audio speakers...forth....You could mention your head unit...Fith.... a phillips amp come on we don use home theatre amps in cars and finally but not least... hertz 4" speakers please come on get a real pair of 4" speakers....

Ok here is my set up...Alpine head unit with Ipod speed and Ipod connection,2x 4"boston speakers (175W), 2x 6.5" sound stream speakers (225WRMS) ran off a 500W alpine 2channel amp and 2 Alpine TYPE R 15" subs (2000W) and 2x 1500W 1channel amps.... see that is a real cranken system...

Im assuming the 4" bostons and 6.5" soundstreams are run up front with the 6.5's steep 24dba/oct highpassed arround 60 and using a 12dba/oct low pass at 250hz. Letting the 4's take over from 250 (24dba high pass) and utalising a natural roll off (or a shallow 6dba/oct passive low pass) arround the tweeters crossover frequency and the tweeters from the 6.5's taking over from their set passive crossover??

How are you managing two speakers bandpassed with diffrent slopes like this and retain sub control?

Ok wait.... I'll write that down and ask my mate at newcastle pro sound... he put it in...Don ask me technical Q's, I am yet to have the Faintest... But what I do know(What I have learnt from friends and people in the Audio buissness) is what are good brands, what are bad and what matches with what...

And EFFalcon your sound system is good, asuming your not into deafening music levels... I am sorry if he is not trying to have a loud system, From what he wrote it just seamed that way...

And yes my car is crap... It needs body work done to it and i hate how much it costs to get pannel beating done.....

Sorry if I offended any one...

I had a couple at the time...

Did you know that the word "allredy" has exactly the same amount of letters as the correctly spelled word? Just in case you dont know, it is spelled: ALREADY.

You may want to do a search on sms speak and go read some more info about it elsewhere on this site.

Cool... There as good as I have found so far... Exept the 30-40" MTX jackhammer :

Thanks MADNC_8...

Ok and yes I sold My sound system yesterday...I got $1500 for the subs and amps...(I only paid $1000 for it) Sold them to some greasy wog...I have no doubt that they are now in some small 4cyl...

And That writing is way confusing....

Can we exit last month NOW!!! Before I get a Migrane... :gren:
