Well 95% of the cars on e-series are un-roadworthy anyway - if the cop wants to get you the cop will get you.

Nice to see they have a website for "what are hoon laws"

Well your going to get a spring nats in Albury Wodonga - papers have been signed sealed and delivered.

I think they are jack of the cops at the Shep Spring Nats so they are moving it to Albury/Wodonga

Yer i know.. its gonna be great.. Albury Autofest.. End of February.. I don't think it cos they sick of the cop issues i think its more cos Albury is a bit more central to sydney and melb.. they are hoping for it to be bigger than springnas in a few years..

If they thought the cops were bad in shep.. Just wait..

LOL.. Some peeps are in for a rude awakening.. LOL..

Cheers,
Nik

One thing i was gonna add too..

The more i think about the 120db thing the more i think it has to be rubbish.. I mean the factory premium stereo in some vehicles would easily crack 120db.. Are they gonna confiscate a completely stock vehicle??? Me thinks not.. LOL..

Cheers,
Nik

Just curious as to how load 120dB is. I'm running 2 alpine type r 12's and 2 sets of type r 6.5 splits with the appropriate amps so they're at full power. Anyone got any idea what this sort of set up would crack?

from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decibel as a comparison:

100 Jackhammer at 2 m (7 ft); inside disco
110 Football stadium during kickoff at 50 yard line; chainsaw at 1 m (3 ft)
120 Train horn at 1 m (3 ft). Perforation of eardrums.
130 Threshold of pain; civil defense siren at 100 ft (30 m)
140 Low Caliber Rifle being fired at 1m (3 ft); the engine of a Formula One car at 1 meter (3 ft)

"In air, sound pressure levels above 85 dB are considered harmful, while 95 dB is considered unsafe for prolonged periods and 120 dB causes an immediate perforation of the ear drum (tympanic membrane). Windows break at about 163 dB. Jet aircraft cause A-weighted levels of about 133 dB at 33 m, or 100 dB at 170 m. "

this i the first line of my signature:

Stereo: MP3 tuner, 5 1/4" splits, 6.5" rears, 2 x 12" subs, Response Precision amp feedin 350wrms to each sub = 135.5 Db

the 2 subs get over powered by the amp so its got more in it.
AMP = $400
WIRING = $150
SUBS = $160 for both
CUSTOM BOX = $60

its not all that big....

I would just like to see someone go down Chapel St Prahran or Fitzroy St in St.Kilda, with Beethoven or Bach playing out of their stereos loudly and get pulled over. It's always the Doof Doof music playing people getting pulled over.

pat's (CaRtZ) setup is nearly identical to mine as my signature says.
when my car is out lappin me and my sis always have the sterio pumping and my car has never been pulled over even when driving past cop cars with it thumping and windows down...
so i think some coppers in shep MIGHT be alright to us pat.

cheers troy

P.S my sub box was $120

LOL.. IF anyone finds one of these.. let me know and i will park 3 blocks away and give some poor innocent people tickets.. LOL..

Wat a dodge setup.. No more honking the horn at mates as they drive past.. LOL..

But they are automatic not anything to do with the coppers being able to book us even if we not using the stereo at the time..

Cheers,
Nik
