Damn you sorted it before I got to guess!

You will have to take some pics to show what you mean about the 'third clip' as I have no idea what you are on about.

I recommend you get a new cable and insulator (the bit with the hook on it down at the gearbox end) anyway, and fit them at the same time as you fit the new cleavis clip, because sure as eggs they are going to fail on you.

$10 says your clutch will feel half as heavy if you get a new cable and adjust it properly

It also pays to ring round for cable prices if you can...

No john, it goes on the end of the clutch pin. There is also one for the brake, which is the same.

The split pin thing goes on last i think, after the black clip. The black clip is there for the clutch pedal bushes, which the cplit pin goes on after that, to hold it in place?

Ah, i cbf going under my dash to check, it's too hot.

Yeah, the black clip with the hole in the middle goes at the end of the clutch pin, and the small sirclip goes onto the clutch pedal to hold the cable holder (the broken thing in your pic) onto the clutch pedal. I think you should have 2 x clear plastic bushes, and 1x or 2x yellow bushes for the clip holder thing.
