Yep, came in black. Check the brochure scans. Colour options are in the ED XR one.

Yeah beat this guys - My miss 1st F**King car is a R33 GTS-T skyline with 18" alloys, front mount monster cooler, 3" turbo back exhaust, custom made air induction, 10 psi boost, full Recaro interior. Mine - a 95 EF Gli wagonmister. Try to justify that.
Anywayz back on the topic on necessary tools in the car to have; spare rubber hoses hose clamps side cutters a socket set pliers cable ties (a must for everyone - they do wonders) jack and wheel brace spare globes fuses bottle of water and coolant bottle of oil a tube of gasket maker Hope this helps. |

Thanks for all of the replies guys!
I am in RACV, however I figured it's probably still a good idea to have a tool kit in the back, there were some things said that I just never would've thought of, like fuses and cable ties : Quote:

Cloth tape is handy too, as it's waterproof and can be used to tape up radiator hoses. Fuses are another must-have, as well as one or two larger fuses that go in the holder under the bonnet.
Sprints could come in black, and purple as well, so its not just white, red, blue and green.

A proper wheel brace is a great start. The factory issue (single) one didn't fit inside the the hole when i changed from factory alloys to roh mags on the EA. $4.95 Wheel chocks $9.95, i wouldnt trust the scissor jack on level ground let alone an unever surface so they might help a bit. Socket set, cheap ones for $10 are useable but they aren't that strong. Really, a phone is the best bet, can even play games os sms friends whilst you wait for the racv/tow truck.

Best tool kit I ever saw was the one in the Gioccatolo, for those that dont know its the little Alfa Sprint with the twin TB holden 5.0, it was a bottle of whiskey and 2 shot glasses, add to that your mobile and i think that pretty much takes care of roadside assist.

Here's a tip from my old man...
Keep on of those hella big flathead screwdrivers in the cabin. Good for fixing stuff - but better in heated situations of self defence I'm not carrying a weapon! It's a screwdriver! I'd rather have that under my seat than being empty handed when you've got some punk about to smash in your windscreen.

I'd just say jumper leads, pretty much anything else is going to require spare parts or will be too hard to fix on the side of a road. If you get jumper leads get decent ones, not much point getting 100 or 200 amp rated ones when your batt is dead flat. they just dont cut the mustard.

Supercheap
Supercheap have some Jump Starters on special, one of those is great to have in the boot. You can jump start it yourself. They also have a good range of tools that are priced well. |

Sif you need tools, I'm always around lol. I've only got the jack and wheel brace in my car, and subs take up the rest! I don't even have a spare tyre in there.

I dunno what you are talking about using SAE sockets and spanners... only ones that I know of are your bonnet hinge bolts which are 3/8th. sorry to get off topic
